who is she?

the thing that lights me up most in this world is travelling. nothing has ever come as naturally to me. the researching, the packing, the flying, the spur-of-the-moment decisions, the friendly interactions with strangers, the handling of the unexpected, the early mornings exploring a city that is not my own but belongs to me all the same, the magnificence of a beautiful vista or mountain range, the off-the-beaten-path restaurant down the alleyway with the best damn steak in all of Lisbon.
I've travelled near & far with friends & loved ones but
the trips that have been the most influential are the ones I've taken solo
it started with a quick weekend trip to San Diego, just to see
if I could do it. then, in 2019, with one large backpack in tow,
I ventured off to Bali for my first true solo expedition and man,
was I good & hooked. being alone allowed me to be fully
present to experience the subtleties of all the life happening
around me. it allowed me to make all my choices, in the
moment, no explanations, no compromises. just me following
my sense of curiosity wherever it led it. and it led me on a
white river rafting adventure with a bunch of Australians,
scuba diving with a Dutch couple and German instructor, and
on a remote island adventure with a few friends from London.
then, in spring of 2022, I pushed through many limiting beliefs to make a huge dream a reality. I rented a camper van out of Portland, and drove all over the Pacific Northwest by myself for 3 weeks.
pure magic
I learned so much about what I'm capable of.I finally learned in real time that what they say is true - you really can do anything you put your mind to.
I believe in taking risks, dreaming big, living life authentically, spreading love, and doing things that truly light your soul on fire. all that good, pure energy is contagious!
